Grip 300 repair involves replacement of front half of grip housing only and assumes ALL electronics are in full working order.
The bottom of the grip is part of the front casing, and it is usually the broken lips of the bottom that cause the battery cap to
fall off. No warranty on Grip 300 electronics, no parts available. Send Grip only, don't send camera body. When these
casing parts are gone, that's it.

(4) XA that are jammed in self timer mode or give very long exposures
usually have cracked circuits or IC defect. This is a fatal flaw, no parts available (requires circuit replacement). XA4
with this defect is also beyond repair (needs new circuit).

(3) Every 35RD I see now is jammed due to oil on the shutter blades (release
button jammed down? Stained blades? Won't wind?). Sometimes no stains but oil is hidden inside. Always requires full rebuild.

Tampering is a huge problem in this industry.

In most cases, no major parts available for these very old models. All lenses of a certain model will not necessarily exhibit the same sharpness lens to lens.
